If you guys like those clips go out and buy the movie Eastern Rises, its a dvd all about fishing Kamchatka. Its bad my friend guys dry fly fishing with mice pattterns. They catch a trout with 3 mice and the head of a duckling inside of it

Im sure if you google it you can add your name to the list of volunteer fisherman they use each year for their research. of course i think you need to be able to cover ALL your own costs, flight and anything else. If i could afford that my name would be down already. I believe the only way to fish that river now is to be a part of the research team  :'(

I have yet to see the whole video yet, but will shortly as a Buddy is bringing me a copy over the Holidaze! Here's the teaser:

Actually in the areas the two vids above were shot, all it takes is money... wheelbarrows full that is!  ;)

You might be thinking of the Steelhead Research they do over there. Unfortunately you can't "sport" fish steel over there as they are protected. A shame really, as their populations are pristine, and very likely a good indication of just what we screwed up over here. You can get in on this ONLY by becoming a part of the Government sanctioned research team - again, at your own cost.

Here's a little flick on that one, a little dry, but has some rather interesting action as well:

Always been a dream of mine to combine this type of fishing with a Maral (their version of Elk) and Marco polo Sheep hunt. Now to win the Lottery TWICE in order to Make It So!!  :D
