Did really well for chrome bright chum on the Nooksack on Saturday and Sunday. I applied the pink/purple jig method under a float that I learned from a Fraser River guide last year. The river came up from all the rain on friday and the fish just flooded in. I didn't have to move as they were porpoising past me all afternoon. Got soaked to the skin and froze on saturday but it was worth it. All fish were released unharmed. It was so nice to fish with no one else around but on the other hand no one to kibutz with.

Thanks for the report
I was there two weekends ago, near lynden, Main arm of the river I guess
the river looked absolutely gorgeous and soo fishable where i was but I could see so sign of living or dead fish.
Having never been there before I was curious about what they get and the regs etc, it seems they do get salmon and steel from what I read.
cheers
