There are some rivers that you can only fish in daytime but some are not
just wondering if anyone tried fish overnight? like in total darkness with flashlight?
tried today and apparently there weren't any fresh coho (caught TONS of chum all c&r)... kinda of attempt to fish at night...
probably not a good idea but maybe it will produce much better chances of hooking those sneaky coho
??? :P

I was reading this , some rivers mentioned the daylight hours only,
I assume that the other rivers is allowed to fish overnight
thx for pointing out
EDIT: wait a sec, some misunderstanding here, so it's illegal to fish with flashlight I assume you are referring to?
I did not mean fish with flashlight I mean using flashlight to help me see the road and my fishing equitment
or is it illegal to fish at night at all?
-
At least he is learning..

look at the regs a little closer guys. It is illegal to fish a river at night like the Chilliwack because it is specified daylight hours only. There is nothing wrong or weird about fishing at night if the regs permit it. The guy on this board from Idaho (I think) fishes Steelhead at night with glow plugs and jigs and slays them. Just check the regs for the water you are fishing

If there is no restriction mentioned for night fishing (daylight fishing only ) then why it should be illegal?
-
yep that's what i'm thinking
thx for clearing up

Idaho, you da pimp?

I wish we could fish at night.... but that's a can of worms they don't need to open.

I wish the regs were as clear as daylight :P
