can someone please describe the best way get to the upper chehalis? I heard you take a left at the 4-way stop pass the Sasquatch... ???

There are many access points....

 No one is going to give you directions over the internet. Go look at some maps or better yet explore it for yourself.

Yup, I agree Sterling...  the canyon can be a dangerous place, If you are bent on going there then go and explore, dont go alone.
