Do any local shops carry replacement bearings (okuma aventa) , or can any generic bearings be easily found? thnks
-
try Mikes Reel Repair or Express reel repair, both in Abby
Rick

Riverside in Poco sell Okuma stuff and have a guy that repairs reels for them. Worth checking out if you're not out in the valley. Rick's choices are also valid.

Or, go this route (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ceramic-Lightning-5-Fishing-Bearing-OKUMA-AVENTA-CENTERPIN-/220789609727)
and never worry about a busted bearing again.

He fin, speaking of Islander, I have the box and paperwork for the green one, including the blank warranty card.

Kinda off topic, but where can I get a new screw for the pin of the aventa? My dads fell out when he was releasing a coho.
