Walked by the hatchery on Tuesday and only saw a few dark springs and no Cohos. I think the run is almost over.

Fresh run coho season is pretty much over.
What remains are the fish already in the river and most of them don't look pretty.

Lots of half dead springs and that's about it.

Leave those spawners alone.  Tried yesterday evening, lots of dirty springs, and 2 dirty coho.

went for a hike through the valley yesterday and stopped by to watch some folks fishing. nothing but people snagging and flossing, saw two fish caught and bonked, 2 dark rotting springs. Stopped by the hatchery and saw nothing but dark and rotting springs and a couple very dark coho.
Couldn't watch the people fishing the cable pool, it was disgusting
