Title: Tidal Fraser River, October 25th 2011: Garry Point Park Dock is gone!!

Headed down to Garry Point Park this afternoon to see if anything was heading up on the high tide-imagine my surprise when I saw the dock had been removed!

So there went that idea of throwing a few spoons/spinners @ whatever.

Tried for a while off the rocks but there was a surprising amount of commercial traffic creating rather damp conditions.

Nothing seen heading upstream at all.

Are you referring to those docks created for those tall ships this year?
What a joke! I wanted to write to the newspaper but it was already done before me!
Those docks were created just for that festival and then blocked off to the public for quite some time, which confused me...
So we paid for those docks and now they are off limits?
Now theyre gone? LOL

Yes..I was also irritated about the docks being closed for public access.   If they are gone - good riddance!
