Not an actual "fishing report" but I thought it might interest some of you. Saw LOTS of fish showing the last three days while towing up the North Arm, some of them definately coho.
-
Thanks ;)
It's that time of the year fishing at Deering Is park can be productive 2~3 hours before high tide.
-
Out for a few hours again today. Released 2 coho, 4 jacks, and one chum. Yesterday the fish were bright and still had lice. Today the coho and 2 of the jacks had quite a bit of pink colour to them. Getting expensive, lost at least 6 blue foxes at over 5 bucks apiece. Sometimes you have to cast into snaggy areas to get the fish, and this place has plenty of them.

Snags or fish ? :D :D
-
More snags than fish, but it makes it interesting.
-
try making your own spinners - you can make them for 1/5 the cost of the Blue Foxes and you can buy components that are very similar to the real deal - thanks for the report! Going to try tomorrow
-
Totally noob question, but what is the blue fox? How does it look?
