Went to the canal at first light and only a few people there; No action for me, neither the others and most of us eventually left, but replaced by those coming late. Went over to Lickman and only saw one nice Coho landed and nothing else. Went to another spot mid-river, but half way along the hike, I spotted fresh bear prints and since I was alone, I doubled back figuring that no fish is worth a bear attack! :-[ Did you guys have better luck this a.m.?

Released 2 wild coho, 1 spring jack and lost 2 rather large springs after lengthy battles (I hate when they run me out of real estate and use the current to their advantage). All short floated on ROE. First light till around 9 am.
