well went down to my usual spot near river road around 1:30 hoping to catch some coho or spring on the incoming tide. used some of last years chum roe and started getting bites immediately. within 2 hours i caught 2 flounder 1 crayfish and 1 bull trout around 2 to 3lbs. all of these i threw back unharmed. had 2 fairly heavy take downs but just wasn't quick enough to set the hook. the weather was great ,calm with a bit of wind and some sunny breaks. disappointed about not hooking into any salmon i called it a day around 5pm. sorry guys no pics as my phone and camera were both at home charging. :-\

do you mind asking which tidal area is that? richmond? (not exact spot)

No action for us today between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. The gradual incoming tide may have something to do with it. Watched a RCMP patrol boat working slowly along the river, which probably had something to do with the baby's body found today.

Its on the news now :(
Sounds like a mother/father dumped a newborn. I still cant comprehend how any mother/father could do such a thing. Makes me sick to my stomach.

That North Arm spot sure has been busy! Seems like people are parking on the shoulder again.
I saw the police boat checking the logbooms as well. What a bad feeling in my gut :(
