Just finished watching the vid & it was great.
Nice to see the scenery & the Loon making it's calls.
Not a deep lake 10-25 ft deep but suppose a person could paddle/electric troll a small flat fish or spoon or fiy fish assuming most like to do.
Definately a nice fat fish in one of Rod's catches which gave a good fight.
Not a far ways to drive either..........3-4 hrs from Vancouver. Lytton area.
Looked a little chilly but in June 2011 it was still chilly even in Richmond so was not surprized.
Check out the vid people ...should ya like to. Well worth it !!!

I agree the video is reallly well-produced.
A little more info on Ruddocks (www.ruddocks.ca). It's a fly-fishing only private lake. They only allow 8 flyfishers on the lake at a time and the fees range from $120-$150/day with a boat, price depends on whether it's the weekend or not.
With the wild trout there it's definitely a unique experience I would love to have a crack at, just hard to justify spending the extra dough as I have my own boat and too many other lakes to explore that don't charge a fee to fish. But if you have the opportunity to fish it looks like a great place to go.
