Took my son and his friend out fishing yesterday on the two road wharf.
Started off fishing for perch and chubs but was talking to a guy who has hooked into sturgeon recently on this wharf so I switched over to some bigger hooks. Within fifteen minutes, my son and his friend hooked into one sturgeon, one dolly varden and about six of the largest bullheads I have ever seen (to put this in perspective I have been fishing the fraser for about 32 years!).
The sturgeon shook the hook right at the dock but did about three jumps in the air. The sturgeon was about 36 inches, the dolly was about 1lb but the largest bullhead was about 2.5 lbs.
Needless to say, my son's friend is now hooked on to fishing!
