Title: Chilliwack River, September 24th 2011
Post by: chris gadsden on September 24, 2011, 10:30:20 PM
Pinks every where and as many people as fish I think.  ;D They are leaving lots of garbage around too which we will deal with tomorrow at the cleanup. A lot of pinks coming in sideways and the shore line is littered with dead pinks, not sure if they are spawned out or not. A lot of people leave innards and heads on the beach, best to throw into deeper water as they attract flies and maybe bears.

Tried this evening but nothing but they were going by me in the raft in droves, saw a large chinook in with one school. Chased and got a nice drennan, the advantage of being in a watercraft. ;D

I did not get any in a few minutes of fishing this morning either but the tide was not right. A friend landed 5, very bright fish, the one he retained was super bright. I got hungry and dragged him off to Cookies for breakfast, the rest of the Day BC Rivers day chores.

Talked to the survey gal, this morning, said she has not counted a coho so far. Maybe better next week.
