Title: Capilano River, September 22nd 2011
Post by: hotrod on September 22, 2011, 09:07:14 PM
An outstanding day on the cap! Numerous hook ups of fresh coho and springs! Biggest ho was at least 9 lbs and 40 lb spring! Got so many lost count! Brought my sone down after his school and he got two 8=9 lb chrome cohos! What a great day to be out there! Fish moving through all day in big numbers! I was literally getting them every cast for a few hours!By mid afternppn river was high but by 6 tonight it looked to be dropping! Tomorrow will be stellar!Good luck out there fellas!

Jeez man, how is that possible?
Were you fishing on the native side?

Anyways, good to see the water is up.

I personally dont believe any cap report anymore, you always hear of these amazing days and 100`s of fish moving through but when you go there high tide and everything there is no sign of anything. Im not saying that this a tall tale but i would of thought today would of been the best day yet, since the rain came in last night so the fish had a good 12 hours to move into the river for this morning.
