Since when did animals have rights ?
-
Makes you wonder who or what will be acting in a PETA video.... ;D
-
Ask, and you shall receive!
PETA's ad campaigns have featured adult film stars Sasha Grey, Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson
Mmmmmm.... Sasha Grey...
-
Isn't Sasha Grey that chick that was in the tv series "Entourage" as Vince's coked out girlfriend?....probably not too far from the truth, lol.....and meh...she's ok...sure wouldn't find me kicking her out of bed for eating crackers anyways! ;D

PETA what an outfit. Maybe now people will start realizing what an outrageous bunch of loonies these folks are. If you read the story further, you will see that they will also show videos of animals suffering that they will take ...as they state it undercover. So here they are supposed to be an organization against cruelty to animals, yet they will allow animals to be tortured in front of them, take the videos and then air them??? What a joke.

^ I suspect these videos are taken when they are posing as employees of slaughterhouses, etc. I'd guess your personal safety comes into question if you jumped in front of a cow and tried to stop the bolt gun wielding operator.
PETA, at their core, represents some good values; treat animals ethically. A value that is repeated in numerous bottom bouncing/flossing threads on this site. PETA's problem is in the delivery. Their outlandish and over the top stunts often draw more ire than support and their message is getting lost in the ensuing debates about their antics.

For all those folks who thinks that PETA goes out of its way to help animals, why does this group euthanize most of them. PETA has to file reports to agencies in the U.S. for instance, and it shows that upwards of 85 to 90 percent of the animals it has under its care it has chosen to put down. Out of the millions of dollars they collect in donations you would think they would be able to save these animals. Sounds like, " do as I say not as I do", in my humble opinion.

^^^...I was about to post something along the same lines......quit spending so much money on fruitless campaigns and protest, etc and put it towards the actual animals themselves!

And all this time I thought PETA stands for "People Eating Tasty Animals" ;D
-
Last weekend they were protesting a popular fishing spot in Seattle with signs that read "Don't let your kids become hookers!" Maybe I should start selling "I'm a Happy Hooker" t-shirts. Any takers?
