Title: Bowman's bar
Post by: coldfinger on August 30, 2011, 06:41:56 PM
It was a rather slow morning at Bowman's bar today.
Across from the log sort and just up a bit....4 hrs  and only two hits.
First one got to beach, but was set free. (First one always does with me.)
then only a hit and spit!
And that was it. Three other boats around us and nothing landed.
The river has come up about 1/2ft. and with the amount net action as of late , it's pretty slow.
they are there just few and far between.
No complaints though.....I've already done better than I expected for this year.
And the season is just really getting started.

tight lines

Sorry about the wrong placement of this posting.....
I'll endeavour to be more mindful in the future.

We fished Bowman's on Sunday and it was dead. Not sure if the river is waiting for the late runs to start coming in.
