fished it this am from 5:30 till 9am. one lost fish on a blade. water is perfect in my opinion. Just didn't seem like there was many fish if any moving thru at all.

There might be some fish move in with the high water but I doubt it. It's kind of a lull time between summer runs and fall runs.

With the bait ban in effect until end of October, Cap coho are notoriously difficult to catch this time of the year even for fresh fish just entering the river.
With attractive opportunities available for pinks in the lower mainland right now, trying to catch a coho at the cap is a real waste of time for an average angler.

We still went even though we knew it was going to be a waste of time. ;D
