Post by: casinoJim on August 11, 2011, 10:07:58 PM
So I have a 15' boat, want to target Sox.

I am in Burnaby

Where should I launch. Where should I go?

and as for location and  boat launch, this is a good website you can find the info, go to fishing spot and it shows available boat launcher spot

I don't, but I suggest to you all that if you know of a place that isn't well
Known that might be fishable this weekend don't post it on here unless you want it to become the 2011 replacement for the pegleg bar ;)

Screw fishing.
Take your boat to Pegleg and ferry people across the channel. 10 bucks a head.
You'd make a killing.  :D

I'm in the same "boat" as you.

New to boating on the river.  no idea where to go.  I'm sure the seasoned shore flossers would give their left nut to be in this position. lol

Whatever, we'll figure something out on Sunday.  Targeting Dinos and early pinks and springs.

Was at both Gill Rd Bar and Jesperson Boat launch yesterday for sockeye opening, tons of boats launched and still launching, parking was at premium for space, both are good to launch from, Jesperson is in calm water with a go around to get out to the river.
