I was out near Porteau trolling flies behind my dingy. I was rowing against or just drifting with the current, keeping it very slow, and was probably 10 20 feet deep within 50 meters or less of shore. I landed 1 and lost another in few hours of fishing. There were no schools visible (only the odd jumper once in a while) except of course around the boat launch (where you cannot fish).

Went there today, lots of fish!

Other than flies, what is everyone's go to lures on the troll?
I use small coyote spoons and sockeye hoochies.

Caught several between Capilano River mouth and Ambleside last weekend. All at around 30 feet in 80 - 90 feet of water. White hoochies 4 feet from the flasher. Good luck!

Pink spoons worked well for us, also experimented with short and long leaders behind full size flashers, it all works.

We fished in the 15-25ft depth range I should add.
