Title: chilliwack lake gate
Post by: island boy on August 05, 2011, 03:40:50 PM
anyone know if they lock the gate at the campsite or just close it. was up there a few years ago and the gate was just closed and not locked. i just don't want to drive up there at 5:30am and have to wait around for a few hours. if anyone has any info on this it would be great. thanks.

I camp there quite abit... its never been locked that I know of.. and I dont think they can lock it legally in care people need to leave in case of emergency. The only way it would be locked is if they had those teeth in road that allowed people to leave but not enter on one side and the other side locked closed.

Btw... lots of trout in that lake near the steam that is near the bridge. Good with bait or on fly.

The main gate is locked up after the Provincial camp ground shuts down after the thanksgiving long week end
