Headed out this morning to try my luck at bar fishing, one of my favorite types of fishing. Headed to duncan bar, found the river still high, so I fished from the road. Fished the out going from 10 to 2pm. All in all I caught 4 bullheads 1 chubb and 1, 3-4 pound bull trout. Missed one really good hit. Lots of bullheads, and chubb around. Saw the odd sockeye rise and the odd sturgeon splash. Saw nothing from anybody else.

Still not skunked. Been doin the drive to the Whack and put in many hours of bar fishin, and havent seen a nibble. Might have to spruldge and get my tidal.

The nets below th Alex Fraser may be the cottonwood sockeye test fishery. With bar fishing in the lower even when the water is high and dirty can be productive. Never no what your going to catch, and the drive isn't so far if you live in the GVRD.

What a weak bar day, went from 2 Bit all up Sim st. Saw a couple socks lower jumpin. Talk to a native he said in his 4 nets he got 10 socks no springs.
Anybody got any locations to hit up in the low low fraser? ???
