Title: Parksville
Post by: BCfisherman97 on July 25, 2011, 01:22:33 PM
I'm going to Parksville on Vancouver Island in 6 days and I was wondering what kind of fishing I would be able to do? I have fished Spider Lake for bass before and that's about it. I wanna know if i could target pinks or any other salmon, I am willing to drive to any rivers or any other places. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick

Port Alberni and Campbell River are two good bets within reasonable driving distance. Call a couple local tackle shops before you head out.

At Parksville you are close to Nile Creek and that is an excellent place to try beach fishing for Pinks.
