Got out this afternoon for a little fishing tip after church. It looked like the first day of summer with warm temperatures as well, so a good day to be on the water. I thought I had by third chinook of the season, could taste it on the BBQ as it was tiring a bit after having it on for about 5 minutes and a couple of jumps.

I was just reaching for the net when it did one last aerial, smiled at me and was gone, I think I gave it a little to much slack while reaching for the net and out popped the barbless # 1 Gammy. The fish looked in the 10 to 12 pounds range.
I also lost my Maple Leaf Drennan soon after. :o :'(

I did however land about a 10 inch rainbow so I guess I was not completely skunked. Will try to get back on track later this week.

:D isn't there something in the "Fishing Report" rules about giving up the name of the river?
