Title: People Fell In Fraser River

Getting a reports 3 Fishers  fell into the Fraser River around Spuzzum an hour ago, two pulled out around Yale, one missing. Not sure how they would make it down that far.
 Details sketchy at this time.

All three men who fell into the Fraser River near Spuzzum at about 2 p.m. Friday have now been accounted for.



But the condition of one man who was last seen holding onto a log as he was carried away by the river is not yet known.



Police said one man made it to shore about 5 km north of the Fraser Bridge in Hope and another who got out near the weigh scales was being treated for hypothermia.



A call-out for search and rescue teams has been cancelled.



Hope resident Sieglinde Corbett said she saw one man floating past her home on Rupert Street at about 2 p.m.



She said the man was hollering for help as he quickly passed by towards the Fraser Bridge.



She later heard search and rescue yelling across the river that all three men have now been retrieved.

wow, from spuzzom to the weigh scales during this high of water  :o Must of been quite the ride

I think there must be some wrong info where they went in. I donot know how they would survive going through all he rapids from Spuzzum down, including Lady Franklin Rock. Not to metion the very cold water.

Info I am still getting is they went in at Spuzzum but had on life jackets and wet suits.
