Went 6-9:30pm.
Schools of coho were plentiful as the tide peaked and made for a nice evening despite not landing any.
I learned a new technique watching a guy at Cable Pool. His float would slide up his line about 20 feet to the bobber stop and when his gear was on bottom he would yank really hard. I need to try this sometime.

Just my luck! Yesterday was the first day that I could not make much time at the river! Hundreds of fish went through the lower end between noon and dark! My relatives had a hay day! That's the way it goes sometimes. You win some or lose some. Definately lots of ho's up the river now. Should be a good weekend up there! Good luck fellas!

'My relatives had a hay day"
I always wondered what that meant? :-\

The tide started rising a little before noon and continued to rise until dark and 100's of fish came up with it.

As these fish are a little late, are they bigger? or 2-3 lbers?
-
Something around that size 2-3lb but there are bigger ones. Lots of fish coming up yesterday as well.

Up to 8lbs some of them!
