Title: Weaver Lake, June 19th 2011
Post by: lovetofish on June 20, 2011, 09:38:39 PM
Just wondering if anyone has been to Weaver this year and how you did. Went there yesterday for father's day and between three rods we managed to only bring 3 fish to the boat. Had a few more on but lost them or released them. Seems in past years we had better results. I'm not complaining fishing is something we enjoy doing, even if we don't catch anything and it's rainling like it did for part of yesterday. I haven't seen anything on this web site mentioning if the lake had been stocked or not, does anyone know?

i was there on sunday as well, and we did pretty well, caught 6 in 3 hours trolling the shore with floating lines and pumpkinhead leeches.  we had more then a dozen strikes but were a little slow on the trigger. except for the frustrating guy building an outrigger for his canoe on the boat launch it was a great day!
