Title: Fishing Pitt River at Grant Narrows
Post by: Sam6140 on May 30, 2011, 11:14:15 PM
Hey Guys,

I been up to Pitt Lake twice this week, and area 51/52.  I was wondering how the fishing is near the docks at Grant Narrows boat launch area.  I was checking out the water yesterday, and saw a couple decent sized fish.  I think they were trout.   I also saw a good sized Salmon or Steelhead leap out of the water.

The water looks nice, clear, and clean.  Has anyone tried fishing from the shore or the docks, or even a boat right around there?  What kind of fish are in there right now or year round?  Are there resident fish there?

Please and Thank you!   ;D

Best bet is to bring a rod and make a few casts. If you've seen fish then they are obviously there, it's just a matter of getting them to bite.
