Title: Question on Electric Motors Only Lakes or Motor size restrictions
Post by: Butch1949 on April 11, 2011, 05:30:22 PM
I've a question: I've a 14' w/30hp motor but I have an electric motor as well, now in lakes restricted to electric motors only, if I have that 30horse locked up but on the boat am I good with the electric only in operation or am I in violation ?, simply I do not wish to remove that motor but clearly not be using it and satisfy all concerns that I'm using only the electric motor ???

you will be fine with the motor on just leave the gas tank empty or the hose at home or in your truck so that they can see your not using your gas motor

Or you can paint the hood and put 9.9 on it instead  ;D

But that's only done by "rednecks" with 15 horse motors though  ;D
