No fish were caught... ::)
But, lots of salmon fry are now on the move. Waves after waves of them travelling along the shallow water now so it wouldn't be a surprise if there are both bull trout and cutthroat trout around feeding on them. Water clarity is on the poor side, visibility is between 1 to 2 feet.
I did have one chance, when one fish snapped at the spinner three times in a row during one retrieve. The tugs were pretty light so it could have been a small cutthroat trout.

I don't know about you but my tidal Fraser Fly fishing this year was very poor, the visability was never very good (at least when I went out). Now with more rain and spring on the way, I expect the visability to get even worse. Oh well, soon I'll be up on the Chilko

I stopped in to take a look, But I felt like the misfit. Alot of older guys around, and I was only person dressed head to toe in fishing wear. So I headed out to the river, only to lose a couple off the bat. :-\
It was tempting though, I kept thinking about all the food as I was fishing. Made me even more hungry. So I missed a Door prize, damn I knew I should have stuck around :P just curious what the prize was anyways, good to hear wally put on a another good one.
