Trolled various flies for 3 hours today--no bites. Another guy had one on on a Dick Nite, another had a couple bites on a chironomid. Fish were surfacing, but not biting much...

Was out today, started fishing with krill off the bottom in the morning, it was sunny and fish were not showing. After a few hours with only a few bites fish started surfacing behind us. We lifted anchor and started to troll, one rod had a red micro leach and the other a black doc spratley. First minute had a good hit on the spratley, right after had a hit on the micro leach, after a minute another hit on the spratley but they didn't want to stick. After a few minutes another hit on the spratley and this time it was a fish. Brang the nice coho in, unbuttoned him and back he went.
Trolled around for a while and had 7-8 hits with only 4 fish hooked and all lost. Moved to another area of the lake and action was hot. Everytime I put the flies down I had a fish on. Lost 3 kok's including a very big one. Trolled a red micro leach on a intermediate sink and landed my limit of kok's quick after that and decided to go home.
Overall a nice day with a few fish, not to mention the fairly nice weather.

--I usually say I was testing new lures or I was targeting larger fish so wasn't interested in the numbers.
