Title: License renewal
Post by: BIG T on March 21, 2011, 08:51:14 PM
Just renew my fishing license today. Want to remind everybody that April 1st is around the corner. Tight line.

When you renew your license at Army and Navy, you will receive 15% off your fishing gear purchases, starts on the 26th I think.

For the guys looking for a decent baitcasting reel, they have Calcutta 200's and 201's for $219.00 plus tax, so with 15% off that, it's a pretty good buy IMO. Just a thought ;)

I'm sorry about the newb. question; however, how is our steel head stamp affected when we renew March 31?

Your steelhead and salmon tags expire together with your license.
Need to buy new one every year.

exactly correct, everything on your license expires. Need to buy all new tags come April 1st  ;D

I wonder how many will buy steely tags for the 1 month left on the Vedder season ?? new license usually thins the herd out nicely  ;D

I don't have my license/tags w/ me here at work.  So, If I renew my steelhead tags is it good for only '11 (essentially, april, may) or is it good for the entire term of the licenses (to april '12)?

When you renew your tag for the next licence year, it'll be good for from the day you renew it to March 31st 2012.

you would be amazed how many dont renew their tags right away because they are gearing up for camping seaosn and lake fishing or have to much yard work/house stuff to deal with in the spring time  ;D

Make a couple of extras and put one in your vest and car. In my haste to get to the river last year I left my wallet at home but because I had an extra one in my vest I was able to fish.
