Here are a couple from the mid 90s both fish were pushing 40 inches so easy 20lbs.
Lay off on the glove that was before anyone really new it was not good for the fish.
Just to give a little perspective I am 6ft 3inch and lets say 200...+ ;D

This is a shot from over 40 years ago on the Thompson. The young guy on the right is my father with a 20+ steelhead he got on a Croc. His buddy's looks a little bigger. I still have the rod and reel in his hand.

::) Really? Why don't you start your own thread in ethics instead of hijacking this one, especially as those photos are older?

As you can tell from the last photo my use of gloves on wid(released) fish was deleted a long time ago.The first two pics are at least ten years old so those two fish are dead now glove or no glove.Thanx for the nard kick.

Spoon man, I like the landing ledge that you're standing on in the first pic.

Sometimes a fish is worth the risk. ;D

Great pics spoonman.
I envy you! ;D
The last chrome bullet would have put up a real fight, no doubt.

This thing ripped me up hard. Sea lice, hit the fly the second the fly hit the water, many big jumps right off the bat, on a 7 wt rpl to boot!

These fish are the perfect example of why I want to use 15 pound liter. A couple of those fish may only happen once in a lifetime so im caught between a rock and a hardplace >:(

just fish with what you're comfortable with, there's no right or wrong as long as you're catching fish. ;)
