the first one looks a little unappealing, but the last two look pretty good, what are you specifically tying for? I'm guessing Steelhead as its right around the corner?

What size hooks are you using on those? I bought a couple like the first pic you posted there but I'm thinking the hooks are too big..

they are 2/0  mustads with a lead head fly tying dumbbell. i might fo to a number 1 mustad though they are very strong

It's a good start. Some suggestions:
Since the dumbells are mounted behind the eye the hook will hang vertically.
There is nothing specifically wrong with it hanging vertically - just bear in mind what the fish will see coming at them. This is why jig kits tend to use a pin to mount the bead in front of the true jig hook eye.
You have focussed a lot of your effort on the head of the jig. If you are float fishing it is likely that the jig will be going downstream backwards - meaning that the fish will only see the butt of your jig. If it is hanging horizontally the fish won't see the head. Many people have commented that there is no difference in hookups between bare lead vs coloured jig heads for steelhead.
Since the butt end is what the fish will see, successful patterns display a target right at the back of the jig, meaning a bright spot of colour and/or flash with a contrasting forward background of Schlappen or Marabou.
Also remember to pinch your barbs. Oh, and try using macro mode on your camera. Fuzzy fly pictures are embarrasing :)
