anyone put a hook in the water lately.

due to the small nature of this flow and the small wild run of steelhead this river recieves this river cannot handle the pressure like the vedder, stave, harrison and etc so reports on this system are not appreciated
JUST GO FISHING I drift, Fly fish, and spin cast i have had great success some days better than others but you have to cover alot of water so good luck usually the fish runs are the same as the vedder and other systems

Just curious why you made a whole new thread about it 5 minutes after saying the river shouldn't be talked about on the net?

I'm new to the area and confused of the fishing regulations of this river. Is there no fishing allowed from the 216th to the Pitt? One set of regulations from 216 to Allco Park and another set of regulations upstream of Allco Park?
I was at the 216th bridge a couple of weeks ago and it seems very shallow. Thoughts? Thanks.

Yes, it boggles the mind, doesn't it?

Alouette Lake, like all lower mainland lakes slows down signifigantly in the winter months. This being said it is not impossible to get into some fish, just alot harder to locate them. Fish finder and patience definitley required. Find the right depth and move slowly, the fish are not very active.

Yeah I'm puzzled as well. Lets not post to this one or the other anymore and let it die.
