Title: Tidal Fraser River, November 2nd 2010
Post by: Rodney on November 02, 2010, 05:01:55 PM
Finally we got to enjoy a sunny, CALM day. The incoming tide today was still big and water clarity was also reasonably good so it was filming time at Garry Point Park (http://www.fishingwithrod.com/articles/region_two/garry_point_park.html) this afternoon for some bull trout (http://www.fishingwithrod.com/fish_profile/bull_trout.html) action. We did ok. A small fish was mistaken as weed on the second cast until I brought the lure in. Two more big ones caught from a beach nearby. One took a small spinner while the other grabbed a spoon really hard. Both fish were in the 2lb mark.

Quite a few people also had the same idea as us. We saw three other spincasters and one older gentleman practicing his speycasting.

A couple of salmon rolled close to shore when the tide turned.

No photos today as we were concentrating on filming.
