Title: Chilliwack River, October 17th 2010
Post by: BCfisherman97 on October 18, 2010, 04:35:16 PM
Fished the mid for a bit yesterday and managed a chrome chum doe (released). Moved to the canal after. Nothing hitting roe for the first 15ish minutes except for two white fish and a nice 10 inch trout. Switched to a pink jig after that. First cast a chrome coho takes it. I brang him to my feet and saw he was a hatchery. He decided to try and shake my jig one last time and pop. Off he goes. The next hour it was fresh chums every few casts. Cut my fingers a few times trying to get my jig out from inside their mouths. Ended up with a really nice jack at the end. Over all nice day to be out but boy was in cold in the morning.
