Hi, wondered if - in an effort to miss the Vedder gong show, it was likely to be fruitful casting a line in the Harrison at Kilby?
Is it productive off the bank from there - targetting Springs and Chums?? ???
Cheers

Thinking about going to Harrison Hot Springs for the weekend. Wondering about doing some fishing on the way. Can you recommend any spots?

I would fish the other side of the bank, park right before the bridge that cross over Harrison and start walking the bank along the golf course. There are lots of opportunities.
Good luck

Thanks CYR,
Appreciate the tip. Trying so hard to find space to be able to cast and fish the fly properly rather than simply joining the shoulder to shoulder stuff!!
Will definately try this soon - car in garage next Sat ... but Sun is good! ;D

PS. I guess these may be some of the Chehalis fish - switching sides to scent the Chehalis river??

when it's high it doesn't fish well from shore. If the Fraser keeps going down it will be a better possibility when the Hope gauge gets closer to 4 meters.

Thanks for the tip Ralph! ;)

Yes, you will be mostly fishing for the Chehalis fishes. I have not fish that section for a few years now, don't know if there is big changes on the shoreline, but back in the days, access and space are plenty. If you got the time and legs, you could hike all the way up the mouth of Chehalis.
Usual minnow patterns on full intermediate or ghost tip works well for me back in the days.

Hey Ted,
Thanks for the wise words - really appreciate. Was thinking of my fave gold rolled muddler fished a little deeper on a Sink Tip (though it's only a 5ft sinking tip).
Have to 'play' nearer home tomorrow due to deliveries (new bed!) and car in garage, etc - but will definately head up there on Sunday, really looking forward to it. :D
