Friends and I arrived at the river around 8am. Water clarity wasn't great but still fishable. First 2 hours... nothing, it was dead, not even a sniff! Then double headers!! My fish managed to unhook itself but my friend managed to land his. It was a wild buck coho. We guestimate it to be a 13lber. For the next few hours water level dropped and cleared up really fast. We managed a few more fish but all were WILD!!!

There is nothing quite like catching a wild fish and releasing it to go on its way... such a good feeling.

I have a similar problem with a slight difference. Every salmon I have landed this season on the Vedder so far have been males and I am out of roe :P
