Just sent a 3106 Factory rod off to Sage today for a tip replacement. Anyone done this or know their typical turn around time? Just hoping I will have it within a month or so. Thanks

3-6 weeks would be my guess.

thanks bro, I am shipping them from my US Post Office box so hoping for sooner, anyone else done this?

When the tip off my 2106 factory rod broke, I decided to make a road trip down to the factory at Bainbridge Island. They gave my family and I a great tour and I got my replacement tip right away (We were going to go shopping down there anyways so it wasn't like I was making a special trip or anything). I gave them a call first to make sure they had a replacement tip available. You may want to give them a call to see if they have any in stock. If they don't, it may take longer to get a replacement because they make them in batches when there are enough warranty claims needed.

thanks strato, I will give them a call. See you at the highway one of these days!

Berry's took over a month for the tip of my 4120. Shipping/handling was 40-50 bucks.

I let a shop deal with my warrenty through sage and had a replacement butt section in seven weeks.

I called Sage and actually got a person on the other line. They have no 3106 tips in stock so will have to make one up, 3-5 weeks she said.
