Title: bars to try around Harrison/ North side of Fraser?
Post by: andrew5 on September 03, 2010, 01:53:07 PM
Hi guys,

going to be up in the harrison area this weekend and was hoping to try my luck one more time at he sockeye fishery. Anyone have any recommended sockeye bars on the north side of the Fraser around Harrison, or the harrison river itself?

Thanks as always,

Andrew  :)

The nearest popular bar which can hold lots of fishermen is Seabird Island Bar. But you need to drive east past Harrison/Agassiz for another 10 -15 minutes. In between, at this low water, you can turn into roads leading to river's edge and walk a little bit or wade some and you should find lesser bars to try. I am not aware of any famous land accessable bar between Rosedale Bridge and Harrison River on the north side. Perhaps other posters can point you to a better location.
