Title: 2-bit Bar Fort Langely
Post by: Skunked Again on September 03, 2010, 05:03:39 AM
Hi guys, does anyone know what kind of weight you need for Two-bit bar if you are bar fishing the main channel?  I don't really want to carry all the weights I own if I could help it. :)  Thanks

David

3-4 ounces should be plenty

all of those bars from Derby upstream to Duncan are very short walks from vehicle to beach, so maybe just leave most of the lead in the car.
may be easier.Should only need 3 to 10 oz at most. Two bit can be very snaggy, derby and duncan less so.Also try just upstream of two bit behind the crescent island at poplar bar in the channel.

Depends on the tide.  On a strong outgoing tide, approx 8-10oz.  On slack, approx 2oz will suffice.
