Title: bristol bay alaska v fraser river

Bristol Bay run about 40 million sockeye harvest 31 millon about 75 percent. fraser river 34million . harvest about 10 million   30 percent. alaska has about the same size run for the last 7 yrs. fraser river run all over the place in numbers. what is the reason they take more and get better results.

I think alot of the sockeye harvested are "ranched" fish.

Do a google search on salmon ranching in Alaska.

4 percent ranched socs in alaska, bristol bay sockeye wild.
