Title: Non-tidal Fraser River, September 1 2010: One FWR Member Bar Fishing Chinooks
Post by: chris gadsden on September 01, 2010, 01:07:23 PM
Went to the same bar today, by myself, only one on the bar as too slow for flossing.  I thought it would be a bit of a rest but the bar rod went off after 10 minutes. I was up the bar a couple of hundred meters cleaning up some discarded line and it took me a minute to reach the rod.  ;D   After a good battle a 23 pounder ended my day but I first made breakfast of bacon, eggs and pancakes followed by an hour nap before leaving the bar. Off to badminton now as BC Senior Games are only a few days away in Campbell River but must make another trip to the T. first

Retirement is great Rodney. ;D ;D

PS sockeye jumping everywhere and limits seem to be obtained in minutes for those that go after them.
