Title: Lower Fraser
Post by: Fish Assassin on August 30, 2010, 05:02:44 PM
Took a drive down to Steveston this afternoon. Had lunch while watching the commercial fleet plying their trade. Lots of boats out and they all seem to be doing welll. Absolutely incredible the amount of sockeyes jumping, some very close to shore. All chrome and seem to be averaging 6-7 lbs. Couple of guys were trying to catch them on spoons. Snaggers were also out with their treble hooks.

I was out on 3 road yesterday.  Saw a few large splashes in the middle of the river.  Think the Chums are on their way in.  Going to try at them later today.   ;)
