Pace pvr is faster acting to commands ... less button lag and has a 500 gb hard drive. Picture is cleaner and sharper. I've traded in my Motorola DCT 3416. See shaw.ca for details on the Pace. Its also compatible with any ESATA hard drive or you can buy a hard drive case that converts a usb connected hard drive to Esata.
