I was just wondering if anyone here has fished the mouth of the Fraser out in the straight ? Do you troll with a flasher and small pink hoochie ? .

i go to yellow can off pt.grey and troll south from there,watch for schools on fish finder, you should put 4-6 dummy flashers on downrigger line then your real fasher with pink hoochie 24-26 leader 30-40 lbs. troll slow to get them to follow the flashers.space flashers so they cant tangle each other.sockeye are not very deep try 60ft. or less.

As you get further South towards the lightship, be very careful not to get close to all the crabpots. They can be gear killers. Look for the groups of sporties, but don't get stuck in the middle of them all as it can be gridlock. Don't be afraid to venture out. Watch your finder for schools at 50-60 feet. Good luck.
