I live close to the old albion ferry, no boat...and would like to know if there are any deecent spots not too far, hope is too far, mission would be ok.

Been barfishing just up from albion, Duncan Bar, I would say there doesnt seem to be enough current to run spin and glows, except on an outgoing tide, which isnt exactly when you should be targeting fish, on an incoming tide, there isnt much current at all, I ve recently switched to just a big glob of cured roe from a bar rig about 20-30 ft out, with the same results as a spin and glow...ZERO TAKERS, except for the occasional Pike Minnow, now... thats a greedy fish, dont know how they even manage to get their mouths around some of the gobs of roe I put on there :o

So planning on going tomorrow, wondering if it would be worth the extra drive to go to the mouth of the stave to bar fish?
Or just fish near the albion ferry.....
