Title: Anderson Lake
Post by: Spiznack on June 16, 2010, 01:25:30 PM
I am thinking of heading up to Anderson Lake this weekend to do some fly fishing.  I have not fished there in a number of years so I was wondering....

Has anyone fished there lately?
How is the fishing there these days?
Would a pontoon boat suffice or do I need to tow my spratley?
Chronies?  Colours? Other flies that are working at Anderson?

Any help/suggestions would be great!  Thanks.

Should be a good flow coming out of Gates Creek into Anderson. I have always done well with green bodied wet flies. Spratley would be best as it is a BIG lake. From boat launch to bay on right side of campground can be productive.
Hanging chronies off the bottom at the drop offs should produce. Lots of Bull, rainbows, pike minnow etc.. in lake.
