This is the year of the big run. Never mind the Cohen enquiry, this year should be the proof of the fish farm issue. The Port Alberni sockeye are already returning in good numbers. If the Adams River run fails to return we probably have proof.
Any predictions on whether the Adams River run will be a good return?
-
Any guess? It will be far below expected returns. Watch for it.

Proof of what?
-
My guess would be it is proof that fish farms are adding to the demise of "inside" sockeye runs (Adams).
The Alberni fish don't migrate through Johnstone Strait and are not affected by fish farms.
