Anyone got a good trout fishing river that you can fish from shore? how is it right now? ???
-
Would be helpful if we know where you live. How much driving are you prepare to do ?
-
hmm... i live in burnaby, but i don't really care, as long as i don't go past hope. Good/bad roads idc

go to the vedder along with everyone else.lol. There is a book from B.C. outdoors magasine called The freshwater atlas it has some info on lakes and rivers for the whole province along with detailed info on the lower mainland.

ah, thanks. I've been there steelheading, never had any luck D:
so there's trout there? any in allison pool?
-
In my freshwater atlas it says the veder has cuts and dollies i will poke through it and see if i can find a local river with rainbows

I could tell you a river but its all catch and release and not open until July 1st ;)
-
Would that be the Skagit?
-
Skagit River - Opens July
Silverhope Creek - Opens August
Chehalis River - Opens June
Chilliwack River - Opens July
I'm sure there are many more but those are the ones I know where you would catch something for sure.
Keep in mind 2 of these are bait ban and catch and release only.
Chehalis and Chilliwack - Would probably be best to release the "rainbows" you catch as they are steelhead smolts, but Chehalis has a decent amount of cutties.
